About Us
Established in 1979 as Tianjin Institute of Technology, Tianjin University of Technology adopted its current name in 2004. It is a comprehensive university with engineering at its core, integrating engineering and science, and offering a balanced development of disciplines in engineering, science, management, humanities, arts, and beyond.
The university is situated in Xiqing District, Tianjin (391 Binshui West Road), and its campus spans an impressive area of approximately 159.93 square kilometers.
Since its founding, the university has upheld the motto of "Valuing Morality and Competence, Seeking Truth and Innovation".
